Kanagawa Prefecture has been promoting the plan of Vibrant "Inochi" (meaning "life" in Japanese). It embodies six main goals in pursuing a vibrant life, i.e. wellbeing, positive spirit, purpose in life, healthy longevity, full of laughter, and good community and environment. The plan of Vibrant "Inochi" has been aligned with the SDGs and therefore made Kanagawa one of the most advanced city in implementing SDGs in Japan.
