"Not only thinking of ourselves, but also safeguarding resources for the next generation."||Wu Liang-cheng prioritizes not just short-term profits but also the long-term sustainability of natural resources and the environment, setting a powerful example that continues to influence Taiwan’s fishing industry.||As Chairman of the Taiwan Fisheries Association and a crab fishing boat owner, he actively promotes the local brand “Wanli Crab” while championing sustainable practices. Under his leadership, association members follow responsible fishing methods such as “catching the big and releasing the small” and avoiding the capture of egg-bearing female crabs during the spawning season.||Thanks to these efforts, local fishery yields have remained stable over the years, striking a balance between conservation and economic growth through the promotion of industrial tourism.|
