Introduction

Baltimore County is located in the geographic center of Maryland, with a population of more than 850,000. It is the second largest job center in Maryland that enjoys a diverse economy, highly educated workforce, and attractive standard of living. The county is home to the Social Security Administration Headquarters and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Business environments include a research and technology park and heavy industrial properties with rail, interstate, and deep-water port access.
