Citing the New Taipei City Second Administrative Center as an example, Director General Juh (second from left) shares the city's practical experience in promoting sustainable development and enhancing urban resilience.

A plenary session of the G-NETS Leaders Summit was held on the afternoon of the 28th, where 55 city representatives gathered to issue a joint declaration.
Juh noted that the Second Administrative Center will introduce "Four Smart Centers" in the future to strengthen five aspects: "road safety, public order, public safety, social security, and food safety." The goal is to comprehensively enhance the resilience of urban governance and forge an important safeguard for citizens. In addition, New Taipei City continues to lead the nation by regularly publishing Voluntary Local Reviews (VLRs) on the implementation of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), steadily endeavoring to achieve Net Zero by 2025.
The summit also issued a joint declaration on the afternoon of the 28th. It stresses that cities should proactively respond to climate change and disaster risks, strengthen urban resilience and cross-domain cooperation, and improve citizens' well-being through green transformation and technological innovation, in order to build sustainable and inclusive cities of the future. Director General Juh added that New Taipei City attaches great importance to international city exchanges and will continue to use the SDGs as a common language to proactively participate in various international organizations and attend conferences, working with global partners to jointly promote smart, sustainable, and resilient urban development.
