New Taipei has been improving its transportation with a people-first approach.
Smoother Roads:Tamkang Bridge, Danbei Road, and new highway interchanges are advancing, shortening commutes and completing the road network.
Green Mobility:YouBike has exceeded 320 million rides — cycling to commute or connect with transit is now a daily habit for many.
Seamless Transfers:With the Tamkang Bridge and Sanying Metro Line opening soon, buses, YouBike stations, and transit hubs will be fully integrated for easier transfers.
Smarter Traffic:The new Intelligent Transportation Center will launch by year-end, using big data to reduce congestion faster.
Support for Taxi Drivers:From June, taxi drivers can park for free for 2 hours (11:00–13:00) at about 120 public parking lots to rest and eat comfortably.
Coming Soon:Xibei A3 Transit Station construction starts by year-end.
