New Taipei City is the most populous county in Taiwan. In the face of various challenges brought on by urban development, the New Taipei City Government addresses its political ideal of building a smart and livable city. Thus, IT companies in New Taipei City are important partners for a smart and sustainable city and are compatible to the city's long-term sustainable goals. The "New Taipei City Smart City Enterprise Service Integrity Platform" provides services to enterprises, associations, and corporate bodies which are closely related to IT businesses, with the aim to create a smart city that enhances the well-being of residents.
In addition to raising awareness of public services and improving administrative effectiveness, it is also expected that by gaining related business resources, the platform will provide assistance to enterprises in following the law and fulfilling their social responsibilities, strengthen the communication between authorities and enterprises, create a corporate culture of integrity, and foster sustainable industrial development.
The forum invited the Agency Against Corruption, Ministry of Justice, the Foxconn Technology Group, the Department of Business and Economic Law and the Graduate Institute of Law, CTBC Business School to exchange ideas on the topics such as "The Path to Sustainable Development from Enterprises to Cities: Based on Integrity," "Common Prosperity through Public Services: How to Establish a New Model of Interaction between the Public and Private Sectors" and "Trade Secret Protection from the Perspectives of the Public and Private Sectors."
