In response to International Women's Day on March 8, the New Taipei City Government held both domestic and international forums. the Director General of the New Taipei City Government Secretariat, Yao, Ching-Yu, represented Mayor Hou Yu-Ih to visit the New York City Government and accept invitations to speak at three forums of the United Nations non-governmental organization Women's Conference (NGO CSW67).

【SDG 17】New Taipei City's post-pandemic international exchanges quickly recover as 2023 starts a bumper year

From 2019 to 2022, the New Taipei City Secretariat organized and participated in 55 international diplomatic forums and interacted with 381 cities. The international community continues learning from each other, especially regarding the UN SDGs. Although physical exchanges declined over the last two years, this year (2023) has witnessed their rapid restoration.

【SDG 17】"Friendly links, together for the better" - platform for collaboration and exchange between four Northern cities launched

"Keelung-Taipei-New Taipei-Taoyuan Cooperation and Exchange Platform" meeting launched at the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival venue on February 11 2023. After the meeting, four mayors, together with diplomats from 29 countries and representatives from 3 chambers of commerce, jointly release the 20-foot heart-shaped double main sky lantern.
