The delegation will engage with government agencies, industry representatives, and civil organizations to exchange views on topics including the New Taipei Dome project, cross-river fireworks, healthcare services, and water resource management. The delegation will also join City Council Speaker Chiang Ken-huang and a city council delegation in meeting with local councils and overseas Taiwanese communities.
The New Taipei City Government is expected to announce the site selection for the New Taipei Dome by mid-year, with plans to develop it as a multifunctional complex integrating sports, retail, and hospitality. The delegation will also visit the headquarters of Orygen, a leading youth mental health organization established under commission from the Australian government.
