In his address, Mayor Hou expressed gratitude for the US's attention to the election and appreciated Chair Rosenberger and AIT for maintaining effective communication with the opposition in recent months. His visit to the US last September, assisted by Chair Rosenberger, was highly successful. In a brief two-day stay in Washington D.C., he met with 16 bipartisan members of Congress, ensuring good communication with various US sectors. His primary focus now is to continue advancing municipal governance and the development of New Taipei City.
